Last two weeks around Devon and Cornwall in June

During the first two weeks of June we visited some of our favourite places in Devon and Cornwall
Shaugh Bridge situated just on the southern edges of Dartmoor not far from Plymouth
When I was incarcerated in a Boarding School in Plymouth in the mid 1950's this was one of the places we were takrn on excursions.  These excursions were the only really nice memories of my time in that school
Shaugh Bridge was the site of a China Clay processing plant in the 19th century which closed down in 1952.  China Clay mining is still carried out on that part of Dartmoor today.

The other place we visited is not far from Shaugh Bridge.  This is Roborough Rock on the edges for the former World War 2 Airfield near Yelverton.
Dukes Cafe near Tavistock Pannier Market ids a nice place for a nice lunch

Duckpool Beach near the hamlet of Coombe in North Cornwall
Stowe Barton, a National Tust Property is nearby.  The site of the Grenville Mansion of stowe is next to the farm where a large Platform can be seen.  Stowe was built in the early 17th Century by the family of the Elizabethan identity Richard Grenville.

Coffee at Cotehele Quay on the Thamar near Cotehele Quay
