Le Prieuré St Michel, Crouttes - A Great Holiday Home.

We had booked into a holiday cottage called la Boulangerie 1 situated within the grounds of Le Prieuré St Michel, Crouttes.  When we booked it we had no idea of how magical this cottage was.

The setting is a tenth century Benedictine Priory in rural Normandy.  By the 16th Century it was a farm with a cider press.  Our cottage dated from around the 16th century but was very tastefully renovated.
