Entertaiments in and around the Barbican In Plymouth

A couple of weeks ago we went to see the Music Of The Night which is a spectacular show put on the The Royal Citadel

This Picture is not one I have taken, but captures the finale with the 1812 Overture being played with guns firing and fireworks going off!

A street on the Barbican which features buildings from the 16th and 17th Centuries which managed to survive the massive bombing raids in the 2nd World War years which destroyed most of old Plymouth

This year the Plymouth Barbican Jazz festival was held concurrently with the Classic Boats festival

Gypsy Moth IV - Sir Francis Chichester's yacht in which he circumnavigated the world on his own and in which he made his last voyage.
Nina's Yacht Tiger on show - it's the middle yacht in this trot of three
Some more yachts at the show.

Two sets of Street Performers whose material seemed to be more Folk/Sea Shanty material rather than Jazz!

The jazz band Company B on the main stage at the Jazz festival.  They were playing mostly 40's and 50's material
