Visiting Eden

The Eden Project is one of Cornwall's premier tourist attractions and is situated in an old China Clay Pit near St Austell.  It is a good place to go on a cold, wet and blustery day.  The following links will provide more information:
 The Biomes - Large Greenhouses!

The Entrance to the tropical Biome
 Inside the tropical biome
 A waterfall
 The Malaysian Village
Viv taking a breather - it was very muggy
There were a few people there the day we visited
 Bananas on Display
Growing Bananas
Inside the warm temperate Biome (Mediterranean Climate)

Lanhydrock House is a National Trust property not far from the Eden Project.  It is a property that Viv and myself like to visit frequently.  As well as the house and gardens, there are magnificent woodland and riverside walks.
Wild flowers at the start of the walk - the bluebells are just beginning
A water feature beside the road
A view of Restormel Castle, a Medieval castle nearby

A wall and a tree on the walk
Viv on the banks of the river Fowey
Respryn bridge - the beginning and end of the walk
