We took the Little Green Bus from Saltash to Looe and alighted at Hannafore on the Sea Front
Looe Island was historically a Holy Spot with a Chapel and was the destination for Medieval Pilgrims. Today it is a nature reserve.
There was a very nice Kiosk there serving a great Coffee
We walked back towards Looe along the seafront. This photo shows East Looe beach with Millendreath and the Barbican in the background with the famous "Banjo" pier at the mouth of the Looe River
Some views looking down the Looe River towards the town
West Looe is on the left and East Looe is on the right
A statue of Nelson - a seal who used to visit Looe a lot and liked this rock
Looking towards the bridge linking East and West Looe
We had lunch in a lovely restaurant near where the trip boats depart and had the nicest plate of Mussels
