The first place we visited was Snowshill Manor, dating back to the 16th century, in the village of Snowshill in the Cotswolds and near Stratford Upon Avon. During the period 1919 to 1951 it was the home of a collector of everything called Charles Wade. Some people may call him a hoarder, but it was an amazing collection.
